Hello everyone!
I know I know the same old tired drill "search", "research", blah blah blah, but I did that several times and I found out how to create a 1.5.1 server, however, it only tells me the "release", by that I mean there's no explanation on how, when and where to use the commands, like "apt-get", I know it's on Ubuntu on VBox for example, but I couldn't get it to work, I used the commands, it downloaded everything but nothing happened, I couldn't start the server neither I could enter the files using a FTP program, and there's no tutorial anywhere (not even here as far as I know) how to set up the Ubuntu on VBox or other virtualization methods since I'm using Win 7.
I'm not a total new now, I succesfully made a 1.4.6 server before and messed up with it, changing items, making items, changing NPC's and so on, but I'm out of luck on how to make the 1.5.1 server.
Just pointing me at the right direction would be nice, like a link on how to set up the Ubuntu on VBox for example and how to make the server files working and the FTP working (on FTP I get the "connection failed error" or the "can't connect" error.)
