I used this guide to add vigors and wolf to NPC Store

got exactly the same ID numbers, so all i did was just copy and paste, and it didn't work, then i edit media.pk2 files again but this time using the ID numbers that i got from DB and still didn't work.

I tried to edit only RefShopgoods.txt, i got this:

- Adding an existing item in NPC (like a weapon) for example, adding Blade D9 to potion seller in jangan = works
- Adding a non existing item in NPC like vigor or wolf = Client crash (before login screen, just closes, no error msg)

Also i have a bug with the trader, for example if i buy in Samarkand, and sell right there (doing nothing, just buy and sell in the same npc), i get a 100% profit (i double my gold or maybe more), any solution? Thanks

Hiya. I'm releasing this here because I no longer really have any use for it. If you can get it working, it's probably the most fixed-up and stable 1.17 source out on RZ as of yet.

I'll warn you in advance, I only gave the code a cursory once-over before packing it up and uploading. Most of the stuff should still be working.
I didn't include the scripts/ or wz/ folders because laziness, you can take them from EliteMS since they're almost entirely the same anyway.

Included SQL file might have the incorrect structure, don't remember if I changed it or not.

Hi

I wanted to change from AHS3 to the premium edition of KOSP/KOCP R11 using R3volutioN Server Kosp Licence I had on my HDD from years ago. I did everything right (it's easy). I'm not a noob, have alot of private server experience so anyway I started everything up and I get this message that it can't connect to the server but there is a connection made? Strange .... than all the scripts are also loading .... So this confuses me, does it have anything to do with the license? If so how to fix it?

Also where can I find a dll loader so I can load dll's on my server like level extension ..... I couldn't find any dll loaders on this forum (Yes I've searched).

EDIT: yes just as I've suspected, it's got to do with the license, I removed the license from config.properties but now of course the mainsvr is running without KOSP ....I'm gonna try koem v2, see if it's any better than KOSP or just stick with my own bakabug's AH3/4 :)

Well, I can replace items (as long as they're the same type)

I have all the templates and I am pretty sure I'm editing them correctly, server side and client side are perfectly synced.

If I replace an item that isn't the same type (say idk a skillbook in place of a bike) it doesn't work.
If I create a whole new item, it still doesn't work.

Note that by replacing I mean using the slot in item.enc

I'm starting to think I could be missing something in cabal.enc? Been trying to figure it out for a while now.. Not sure I'm looking in the right place .-.

Any ideas?

I would like to start this thread as a place where we can all share information about things you can edit in your elements.data file in version 331. That way we don't have to waste a lot of time stumbling through it and we can learn from each other. If I missed anything, please let me know. I'll also post question I still have at the bottom.

You can also download an elements editor at that link. Since it's in chinese, here is a translation of some of the buttons. If anyone can translate other buttons, please post screenshots.

Change the number of players required to enter an instance
In section [102]:DYNAMIC INSTANCE adjust the 1st MIN_CH value from 3 to whatever you want.

Star crystals have a 100% success rate when fortifying gear
In Section [54]:ENCHANT STONES set the 1st 12 SUCCES values to 1 on item 14188

Astral reforge charm now reforges to 100%
In Section [136]:RECAST TOOL set the all the UP_VAL to 100 and all the DOWN_V to 0 on item 38049

Mana serum serum now has 6 million mana
In Section [5]:POTIONS set the 1st MP field and the SH_PRI field to 6000000 on item 37200

Mercury Statuettes now sell for 300D per stack
In section [46]:SCROLLS set the PRICE field to 3000000 on item 28821

War God gear can now be purchased with bounty points instead of war god points
In Section [129]:ITEM TRADE PAGE items 24078 - 24085 need to be edited. Each page is for a different class. Field 9 is the itemID. Field 14 is the point type. Field 15 is the price in those points.
You can set field 14 to the following values :
3 bounty
4 champion
18 battlefield
34 warlord

Ancient gear has had its reputation requirement removed at all vendors, and the cost is now in bounty points for all pieces, and is now cheaper
In Section [129]:ITEM TRADE PAGE there are several groups of items that need to be edited. There is one page for each class at all of the vendors who sell ancient gear. Field 9 is the itemID. Field 15 is the price in points. Field 19 is the reputation value. You can set field 19 to 0.

Dawn Era is fixed and now shows properly
In section [143]:ERA CONF the NAME field that comes before the DESC_1 field with 'Dawn Era:' needs to have its value changed from blank to 'Dawn'

Era advances at 100, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, and 700 prayers
In section [143]:ERA CONF change the 2nd to 8th values of ERA_ST
In section [68]:SPECIAL ID CONF change the 2 KINGDO values to match the values you used in the first change
Search your server files for gamed/config/aiscript/ai316.lua and ai319.lua for the string 'value_era' and set those to match the values you used in your elements file.

The amount of xp needed to level flight has been reduced to 30 minutes per level
In section [144]:FLY LVL EXP change the first 6 REQ_FL values to 30

All jobs now require only 10 points per level
In section [104]:SUB PROF LVL EXP change the first 8 LEVELU values to 1,10,20,30,40,50,60,70

Pet control training costs reduced to 1 (copper, soul power, second)
In section [157]:(COMPER) PET OPTIONS Field 7 is the cost in copper. Field 11 is the cost in soul power. Field 12 is the time in seconds.
You will have to change each value 100 times for each pet training skill

Pet control training is always 100% success rate
In section [157]:(COMPER) PET OPTIONS Field 5 is the chance of success. Set it to 100. You will have to do that 100 times for each pet training skill.

The amount of xp needed to level a pet has been reduced so that medium pet essence will give you exactly 10 levels each use after the first
In section [52]:EXP TABLE change all the PET_EX values after the 38th one to 2500000

The soul power cap has been increased to 1 billion at level 80
In section [52]:EXP TABLE change the 80th MAX_BE value to 1000000000

Energy and vigor caps have been increased to 99999 at level 80
In section [52]:EXP TABLE change the 80th VIGOR_ and VITALI values to 99999

Energy and vigor recovery rates set to 6000 points per hour while online
In section [68]:SPECIAL ID CONF change the first 2 ONLINE fields to 1000. The next three OFFLIN values are offline energy, vigor, and flight energy recovery rates.

Mastery and resistance training are now free and cost no vigor
In section [118]:PROPERTY ENHANCE the first set of values up to 700 are the amount of mastery bonus you get for that level. The next set of 80 values up to 60000000 are the cost in copper. Set those to 0. The next set of 80 values up to 50 are the vigor cost. Set those to 0.

All socialite skills now cost 1 point per rank
In section [75]:SKILL LEARN on items 13308-13310 and 13760-13761 set fields 23,47,71,95,and 119 to 1

Goblin Henchmen and Reilig Cavaliers now 11 bounty rep and 1 million soulpower per kill
In section [19]:MOBS on items 38182 and 38187 field 79 is the xp per kill. Field 81 is the soul power per kill. Field 186 is the bounty reputation per kill.

Lawrence the guild master now sells Extract Scroll level 5
In section [73]:NPC EXCHANGE item 30893 has several pages. The page with the extract scrolls is 20133. On that page in field 69 put the itemID 14224. Set field 83 to 2 to set the price to 2 guild merit.

Hicks now has access to the guild pet exchange tab
In section [39]:NPC LIST the ITEM_T value can be filled with the ID of an item trade page on any NPC. 34403 is the ID of the item trade page that is usually on the guild pet exchange NPC.

The grocer shop has been added to all mailboxes in the game
In section [39]:NPC LIST the SELL_S value can be filled with the ID of a sell shop on any NPC. 9605 is the ID of the sell shop that is usually on the grocers.

The grocer shop now sells additional items
In section [32]:NPC SELL SERVICE find a blank PAGE_T and give it a name to create a new sell page. If you want to change the page icon you can edit the MONEY_ value. In any ITEM box put an itemID

Increase the chance of getting a certain ID on your gear
In section [86]:ADDON PACKAGE the first 2088 rows are all the possible IDs you can get on your gear. Find an ID you want a higher chance of like #6 (12724) 1% crit chance and increase the WEIGHT value to something higher like over 10000. This is about the same as the rather common 6acc. If you want a higher chance, increase that value higher.

Things I would like to figure out

-How the max xp / kill formula works for a mob. I know this : If you change field 79 on a mob, you can change its xp per kill but if you change it to 1000000 you'll notice you only get about 217k at level 80. In section 52:EXP TABLE there is a set of values called KILL_M. at level 80 the kill max is 8686. The ~217k is exactly 25 times this value. If you increase this value 10x you are now capped at about 2.17 million on mob kills. So I have 2 questions :
1. Where does this 25 times the kill_m value as a xp cap come from? Is that hardcoded into the GS or can we increase that 25 number anywhere ?
2. Is there a way for me to set an xp multiplier on my kills in the elements file so I don't have to do it by hex editing in the GS or by manually editing the xp / kill on all mobs?

-Can I activate that triple xp bonus on the server through elements editing?


-Is there somewhere where I can change the number of points of xp that anima charms give?

-Is there somewhere where I can change the amount of xp required per level on animas?

-Is there somewhere where I can change the number of times per day I can use an anima charm? (I can reset the counter to allow me a max of 255 uses in the current day by editing xml in iweb but that's not very elegant)

-Is there somewhere where I can change the amount of time that has to pass before I can pray again? (I can also reset the timer by logging out and editing the xml with iweb but once again, it's not very elegant)

Blue Outline Round Itens and Prone Camera/Anim Bug [Allright Source]

Well, I've searched for the resolution of these two bugs but I couldn't find it.

First bug: Blue Outline Shining thing around the loots won't appear in most of cases, will half-appear sometimes and will show normal in very rare ones.

This is how it looks on my server (Bugged):

PS: This second working screenshot was took on the SAME SERVER, I don't know why in some ropes (not all of them) the outline just works.


Second Bug: When you enter prone mod (Press Z) your camera sticks like you're on foot (3rd person) and also shows you're on foot (1st person)I've already seen people with this error but no solution (I tried to look myself after the animation/camera config @ DNC's source but couldn't fix it.

And yes, on this screenshot I'm in prone but using first person. When I walk proning, the camera goes down and works fine, but when I stop and get steady, camera goes back to "foot" pos and so do the arms/weapon.


Curious fact: When I walk on prone (3rd AND 1st person) camera and skin be allright, but when I get steady, it gets back to the same bug.
Curious fact 2: Even my friends can't see me in prone mode, they will always see me standing (and so do I when I look to them trying to prone).





EXTRA BUG I just found out: Sometimes I get a crash (Node.Query -> GetData call returned error!

@ r3dlog: Player falling through the world (and it tries to fix my position, but fails. And so on, everytime I try to log on that character, I crash after the loading (WarZ detect an error Report bla bla bla).
