Location: Poland

i have been working on this issue for some hours now and its paining me way up in the ass.

Unable to open v146

Hi everyone, im new to maplestory development but i have made my research before posting this (i promise). i am trying to open a v146 server for myself and my friends and im hosting it in my vps and i would be grateful for anyone helping me with this.

I'm trying to open up maplestory using every redirector available in this forum currently and every time I try to launch maplestory it just opens up the "Maplestory.exe" process for 5 seconds and then closes it without any pop-ups. i've already portforwarded every port for v146 and setup msauth as well.

i'm not sure if this is a OS issue or something from the source?

i'm using windows 8.1 professional if that helps. i'm really not sure where i should be looking if anyone would direct me to the probable cause i would appreciate it. thanks.

Its been so long time no post in here , today I release some of my work .
This is 1 New Map Solo Gate 50 that be used for do play battle dungeon solo .
All file already edited for server side and client side . Its also have guide in picture and video to edit configure enter dungeon solo .

this picture below are tutorial for edit add new line for the server side script BattleDungeonItem.dat

a brief explanation if there are somebody wondered about these files

Q : what is ixnew thing ?
A : its code for new bd key that i used for my server project .

Q : why no need edit client side item.edf
A : because i just release 1 bd key with 1 map , default Item edf has 47 Battle Dungeon Key , these script are same have 47 Battle Dungeon key . so no need edit item edf .


Note :
1. No need edit item edf , because default dungeon key = 47 at clean item edf
2.Copy the folder at your rf client and server
3.Edit your rf online bin number map to 32

Hallo Guys, i need help with PK Kill
Error will appear when player kill a character while pk time.

DB:42S02, NativeError:208, [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]Invalid object name 'PhindoGame.dbo.ChaInfo'.

Questions regarding creation of new models and importing the same into the game

Hi all. I am a director of and a gm on a small but steadily growing server. The owner is a friend and he mostly deals with the code side of things since i have limited knowledge in that area. So while reading my inquiries please be aware of that fact.

I am familiar with how to use blender and edit gamefiles, use of rody angelica editor and pwadmin, putty is no issue for me. I also just recently created a custom patcher for the server. So i can deal with texturing the model without much issue. The questions i have are following:

Is it possible to use newer versions of blender to create custom models as ski files. Is there a plug in that would enable that and is one even necessary? I know that there used to be a plugin for an old old version of blender but i tried installing all of that and it simply doesn't work for me.
I scoured the ragezone community and nothing i found was actually able to tell me what i need. Server is 1.4.6 version and we have a patcher that is able to inject files directly into the system without having to unpack the surfaces. Pck. However, i already have tools and i have unpacked the surfaces file and am planning to make some custom chromas for players and certain weapons.
Also, i believe that even if i made a model it would have no sfx but honestly that is a hurdle i am willing to seek guidance for at a later date at this moment. I believe i saw somewhere u have to use hex editor for those and all ones i download are filled with malwares and viruses. I also know that position of the weapons has to be done through hex editing. That is however the extent of my knowledge.
If you know anything at all that might be helpful, that is currently available for use please share. If you have any guides please post them.
My goal for this post is for people to be able to come here to gather some good advice and steps they need to take to make their own custom assets to be able to come here and find some good info.
