Before I start, I do not want any posts saying "isn't that a childs game?" its an mmorpg, nonetheless, and one I want to work on. I want to create a toontown private server, not to the extent of toontown rewritten, but I do want to have quite a few players. I have been making progress, when I first got the client files, the only use was to listen to the music stored in the files, however, I have now got it to launch and send a connection, however due to a lack of server files, it will not connect, and thus, will not continue. If you'd like to help, It'd be incredibly helpful if you knew python, even the least bit, just to help setup the server files. Those in place, and the beginnings of the game will start. I need developers, artists, anything really. If you want to help, please reply, or add me on skype at random_skype_name1 or PM me on here.

I don't know if I can ask this here but I think it is ok since it is related to coding, so....


well, I have this DriftCity client but it is packed with ASProtect V1.23 RC1 and I don't know how to unpack it. Already tried tuts4you guides and a tool called stripper but it doesn't work either. BSOD when I click the unpack button. Tried with WIN XP.

[Help] Securing Client-side

As the tittle goes, i'm wondering if someone can give me some tips to secure my client files.

What I've done: packed all of my .enc's files with my custom xor keys and then configured them on CabalMain.exe. I've also packed CabalMain.exe with themida. Already have a launcher so, start-cabal.bat is no longer needed.

Any help will be much appreciated.

How to fix CashShop and FM mobs v62

I'm new to coding. Im using XiuzSource V62

I have 2 Huge problems.
1.) Players and myself i the server get this message from cash shop then get kicked out "Due to an Unknown Error Cash Shop Request Has Failed".
How can I go about fixing this?

2.) In this source just like so many others i've tried there's mobs in each FM how do i get rid of them? i found them in wz files but im too scared to touch them out of fear from messing the server up.

Lootboxes Help?! XML Errors?

Hello!

Ive been trying to fix lootboxes for about 8 hours. looking up guides and other things trying to figure out how i fix this so i can actually have loot in my server.

Ive gotten to the point where when i connect to http://127.0.0.1/api/php/api_GetLoot...5-EB135E16F5EF using google chrome it gives me a error saying this

This page contains the following errors:

error on line 1 at column 1: Document is empty
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.


But when i connect to http://127.0.0.1/api/php/api_GetLoot...5-EB135E16F5EF via firefox i get this

XML Parsing Error: syntax error
Location: http://127.0.0.1/api/php/api_GetLoot...5-EB135E16F5EF
Line Number 1, Column 1:Connection could be established.

I have no idea why this is happening and i dont get why its sayin there is a syntax error. I have everything set up properly. If someone could help me and point me in the right direction to being able to fix this that would be much appreciated.

I've made my model, now HOW DO I ADJUST THE VERTEX COLORS?

A friend of mine said there are two ways:
1. o3d converter
2. 3ds Max coding

well o3d Converter is a pain to do

and how do I do the 3ds max coding thing?
Someone make or link guides on how to do it please?




I just want to know how to do the 3DS MAX CODING Fenris told me about.

Has anyone made a tool to make it quicker to add items? Or whats the fastest way to add an item (Ex. Weapons Skins, Weapons,etc.)
